Then click on "PROJECT" at the top it will load some random popup that isn't safe. This is something that needs to be looked into.

This is still happening. Please, check your servers security. Its been breached.

I only ever use http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/ to visit the site, and I don't recall ever seeing that home page before :) Looks like it's been untouched for over 10 years. But, yeah, needs to be fixed, removed or redirected.

The page source is littered with onclick events, such as below ...

onclick="window.open(this.href,'win2','status=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes,titlebar=no,menubar=no,resizable=yes,width=640,height=480,directories=no,location=no');

... that would seem to be the source of the popups (I'm no HTML expert!)

I suspect they are not malicious, but just the residue from a previous site host that just pumps ads.

Based on the types of ads that are displaying when this occurs it does seem more malicious than a typical "ad pumping site" so to speak.

Some of those sites it redirects you to are definitely not safe.
