Access to server status page is very slow, but always shows around 10k tasks available. I also have a number of phantom tasks, and some stuck in pending for many days. Other projects are working fine.

Been going on for a while :(

I have a sencor located in western Norway, and reporting is very erratic.
Got a few messages that the sencor is offline, but both the display on the sencor, and boink software are running.
I also have another app runinf, shoving planes in the area, feeding FR24 wich there is no problem.
Also retrieving the updated map often fails, the same trying to get my measures result.

Normally I see several days, but now :

Still lots or problems.

Not able to post a detailed log for some reason, so a few bits ...

This oone happens a lot:

28/11/2024 14:14:45 | Radioactive@Home | Started upload of sample_17008412_0_0
28/11/2024 14:14:48 | Radioactive@Home | Finished upload of sample_17008412_0_0
28/11/2024 14:19:51 | Radioactive@Home | Scheduler request failed: Timeout was reached
28/11/2024 14:20:05 | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
28/11/2024 14:20:07 | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

Unable to open database:

28/11/2024 14:29:19 | Radioactive@Home | Requesting new tasks for CPU
28/11/2024 14:29:21 | Radioactive@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
28/11/2024 14:29:21 | Radioactive@Home | Server can't open database

Lots of problems like this, tasks marked as invalid because the server thinks they have been reported twice, tasks stuck in pending, and sometimes multiple active tasks listed although they don't exist.

No issues with other projects, and the site is sometimes inaccessible from a different machine while this is happening :(

Looks like your sensor went offline on the 27th November ...

1123637444,1670151,2024-11-27 10:10:16,n,4.0 minutes,20.2 cpm,0.12 uSv/h
Error reading data: Device communication error
Error reading data: Device communication error
Error reading data: Device communication error
Lost sensor, trying to reopen....
Could not find any of the devices listed in sensors.xml: Device communication error

Probably just the USB port or internal hub playing up, which a power cycle might fix. Or a Windows automatic update that screwed things up, see if you had one before the sensor went offline.

No idea what all the database errors mean, but possibly connected to the work fetch problem.

Thanks, the setup runs 24/7 also with other programs.

Go to your tasks page ...

http://radioactiveathome.org/boinc/results.php?hostid=28336

... and click on a unit with no credit in the 'Task' column.

Your sensor started working yesterday apparently :)
