It really is very solidly put together: Ive used it for extended periods of an hour or more at a time (on full power), and even under this kind of punishment it doesn't show any signs of wear. It still starts with just one push of the piezoelectric start button. My wife tells me it's perfect for her silver jewelry brazing due to the precise blue flame it creates.
